Product offers (as said by Overswarm):

Video on Demand (VoD) is an easy, simple way for hardcore halo 2 players to watch the pros play. You pay $20 and you get a full year of VoD (very cheap), and you get to watch full broadcasts of past events via streaming. Even cooler is that during MLG's tournaments, there are LIVE streams, where you get to see everything as it's happening. It's really easy to set up on a computer (took me about 5 minutes to start watching streams), and the profit is phenomenal.

Watching VoD makes me understand why my dad could sit there and watch basketball and talk to his friends about it immediately after the game. I watched x6 lose to StK (now 3d) by mere seconds on a king of the hill game, Live. Immediately after that, I watch them lose by ONE point with a very intense game all the way through. The entire time I was logged on to X-box live, logged in a room with 7 other people all talking about the tournament and commenting.

This is probably one of the single greatest products any company could give. You can pay $20 a MONTH for sports channels, you pay $20 a YEAR for MLG's VoD. Not only do you get to download a few "legendary" downloads of some of the top games ever played, but you get to watch full rebroadcasts, as many times as you want, of any of the past events. If you want to watch something from 2004, check the 2004 listing of VoD; what you are looking for is probably there.

The full rebroadcast videos are long and in-depth, so you are sure to get your money's worth out of them. For you skimmers out there (who have probably only watching the NSCS videos, rather than read the text), you can click "next" on windows media player and it will send you to the next segment. If a full rebroadcast doesn't have that option yet, check back in a bit, it'll be there.

But looking past the entertainment value of this, there is some serious advantages you can obtain by watching VoD. The top teams don't win tournaments by shooting alone, they have strategy; more important than that, they have the TOP strategies, in action, for every map. There are some things that even I hadn't thought of before watching VoD. Watching VoD can really help you learn about how the top players react to different situations, how they work with teamwork, and how they aim. If you're a curious type of guy, you can also see exactly how well you would stack up against the top teams.

If you have any questions about it, check out the forums at MLG. The MLG forums can be pretty harsh at times, so delve into those carefully. They aren't very happy with a lot of newcomers randomly appearing, stirring up trouble and making lots of opinionated posts, then leaving. Just tread carefully.
