Other hobbies I have are I enjoy mountain biking, my girlfriend, and paintball. What was the first video game you really got into? Hmm.. Some of the first video games I really got into were resident evil 2 for Nintendo 64 and Legend of Legaia (rpg) for ps1, those were really my first games I ever showed interest in, of course there were other games along the way but those are the 2 games I really jumped into and played. How much time do you spend playing halo 2? I play halo whenever my team wants to practice or when I feel like playing really, so I would say like maybe 15-20 a week at most.(not quite sure :/) Do you ever get bored of it? No, I love playing all kinds of different games types and just having a good time. Do you play any other video games? Yes, I played a lot of RE4 when it game out on Gamecube, I though that was one of the best games I have ever played great graphics great everything. I really enjoy played final fantasy rpgs those are all great. That's about it. I've gotten in games like ninja gaiden and other like that but not for to long. Out of all the other players you've met, who do you think is the best all around halo 2 player in the world? Im not quite sure I think that there's always room for improvement on the way you think or strategize What got you into the tournament scene? Where did it begin? With Sad Panda, Fonzi, Foulacy, and Walka, that's how I got into tournaments. What does your family think about all of your publicity and halo playing? They don't mind it at all they think its preety cool actually my dad loves it, mom ehhh well she thinks its cool, but yea they don't mind a bit. [Halo specific questions] How did you get so good at Halo? From playing a lot, im not quite sure how one becomes good at halo 2 some people are just good, some aren't I think it has to do with the way you are, the way you think and strategize. If someone wanted to get better at Halo, what advice would you give them? Get a solid team and practice a lot, do FFAs a lot even though they require some luck it's a really good way to becoming good at halo 2. What is the most important part of being a good halo player? TEAMWORK and STRATEGY. You were a big name in the beginning of halo, and were way up there on the leaderboards. All of the sudden you disappeared. What happened, and what made you come back? Well after stand by and all that started appearing I just kinda left I played customs and got into the mlg scene and after I kinda got burnt out on halo2 I just stopped playing for like 4 months and then came back like 2-3 weeks before Nashville and started playing again There haven't been too many top teams coming to tournaments. Plenty of good players, but not all of them good teams. What do you think needs to change before video game tournaments will have more top teams? Well this question kinda falls back on how many good halo2 players are there in the world and the tournaments are growing and growing, but I feel that's there wont be more teams until the whole video gaming things expands more. What is your favorite map? Midship What is your favorite weapon / weapon combo? Pre SMG/Pistol combo, I like br as my main weapon but I love the smg for melee What is your favorite gametype, and how do you go about winning it? Hmm, ever since sanctuary came out I love mlg snipers there that is a really fun game, also I enjoy Koth on lockout that's a really good teamwork game. I go about winning Koth lockout by having complete communication and teamwork What has been your favorite major tournament so far? MLG is the only one I have been to so far, because I stopped playing when WCG and VGL were happening so I wouldn't know, but MLG right now is my favorite. What do you plan to do with your gaming career in the future? I plan to squeeze all the drops I can from it and just have a good time doing it. I have a feeling that when xbox360 and ps3 come out gaming will be taken more seriously and will expand. Home | Advanced Combat Techniques | Articles and Extras | Map Guides Articles and Extras |
