2239 Hours, September 18, 2552 (Military Calendar)/
Aboard Covenant Cruiser "Swift Glory" Over Africa
Planet Earth

Private Edward Monroe wasn't a damn bit afraid, because he knew The Gold Elite couldn't kill him because he knew something the Elite wanted, where the Master Chief was. The Elite was trying to force it out of him, but it is like drowning a shark; it just won't happen.
Private Monroe maintained silent, secretly trying to untie the ropes and reach his pocket. The Elite grunted, clearly impatience at Monroe's refusal to cooperate. Monroe tried to look at the Elite but the room was dimly lit. The Elite paced the room, his huge silhouette moving with obvious anger.
"Tell us filthy human!" the elite backhanded Monroe across the face. Blood was running out of the corner of his mouth.
"Tell us where the Green Devil is!" Monroe received another swift smack on his face.
"I would appreciate it if you would stop" he mumbled.
"Would you like me to stop?" He asked very politely.
"THEN TELL ME WHERE THE GREEN HUMAN IS!" He roared in anger, sending mucus flying everywhere not excluding Monroe's face. Monroe found the Elites anger comical.
"I swear on my ancestors names, that I will slice you if don't tell me!"
"No you wont" Monroe said simply. The Elite punched Monroe in the face, and broke his nose.

"Sir, we have a contact dead ahead!" The crewman said excitedly, being he was very new.
"It's a Covenant Cruiser, Sir, I don't think they have seen."
"Looks like we caught them with their pants down."
" From the looks of it, they are somewhere above Africa."
"That's where the Chief is doing his Covert op, they're on to him!" The Captain exclaimed.
"Lieutenant, give me a weapons report," the Captain said.
"Sir, MAC rounds are hot," the Lieutenant replied.
      "Let them bastards have it"
"Aye Sir, MAC Rounds away!" The Destroyer shuddered as it spit out three white hot projectiles at extreme velocities. The MAC's raced across the blackness. The rounds were screaming towards their target, it was only a matter of seconds before the Covenant would realize they were screwed. The Captain smiled.

"Ahhhhh!" Monroe cried in pain. His nose hurt like none other, but nonetheless he was almost complete in unbinding his hands and getting to his pocket.
"My patience is wearing thin I-" The Elite stopped mid-sentence, the human had Interrupted him.
"Patience, what patience?" Monroe murmured. Monroe did it, the Elite snapped. The 8-foot tall giant made a grab for Monroe but was thrown off his feet as the whole ship shook violently.
"What is this!?" The Elite yelled. Just then an alien voice rang through the ship's shipwide COM. It said something in panic. As the voice finished, Monroe finally got out of his ropes, but kept it secret, planning when to do it.
"Just call it the Angel of Death"
"Humans?" The Elite said. He looked at Monroe as if he was attacking the ship.
Monroe smirked.
"What's so funny!?" The Elite demanded. Monroe knew that his ally's had no clue he was in here, so he knew he was going to die. So is that Gold Bastard.
"Nothing, you just dropped your gun," He said malevolently.
The Elite cautiously stepped towards his fallen pistol, which had been thrown on the floor right in front of the human's chair. He slowly reached under to pick it up, and barely touched the handle when it happened. Monroe brung his foot up swiftly into the gut of the Elite, causing it to double over. He then threw the ropes off his hands, grabbed the pistol out of his pocket, and stood up all in the same movement. He shot the Elite in the leg. It stumbled in fear towards the door and attempted to open it, but Monroe shot the control panel causing a satisfactory malfunction of the door. The Elite turned around to face Monroe with a face of sheer terror. Monroe simply smirked.
"We're gonna have a little talk."
