That story was cool. That is one badass Marine. That Elite is careless and stupid. He should die in the next story.

Poor kid. I think that's an excellent idea, an Elite bullying a human - it's not the size of the dog in the fight - it's the size of the fight in the dog. That human didn't crack.

Evidently, the Elite was careless. He didn't check Monroe for the pistol. Maybe the pistol was only a small one. I guess the Elite thought that just because the human was small and fragile he'd crack. I guess not.

You show 'em!

Yeah, but that;s to the Human side, we have no idea what kind of torture methods the Covies use.

There's a rather usual system to torture.

They beat you up a bit.
They show you the obvious interrogator, who the POW doesn't trust, and won't tell anything to.
The guard of the POW befriends him, and feigns sympathy.
The POW tells the guard, who isn't an interrogator(or so he believes), various details.
The guard, who is an interrogator, tells his superiors everything he learns.
Meanwhile the prisoner is still beaten and interrogated by the others so the guard doesn't look too obvious.

Well on the level PoA, don't you see three Elites in the cryo bay, where you had woken up? Cortana says they wanted to catch you napping. What do you think that means?
And in H:tF, Do the Prophets not grant 'Zamamee permission to lead a mission on finding the MC?
So in a nutshell, yes, the Covenant would be tht intent on finding the so-called 'Green Devil.'

You seem to be improving. So, tell me, how is that elite speaking english? Or is it one of those elites that did their homework? I guess it has an ok plot, but are you sure the covenant are THAT interested in finding the MC? Anyways, i thought how the way that elite reacted after getting kicked in the gut was kind of inaccurate. You dont ever see elites running in fear. Good. 7/10

Well maybe the first step of interrogation is beating the subject up a bit, and if he doesn't talk, break out the torture devices. And the story was good, although it would have made perfectly good sense without the authors note. And I got a bit confused when it switched over to the Human POV. When you found the code, did it say anything about a horizontal rule?

I agree with OpeningAct. For the interigation part don't covenant shock the victims or something. Read Halo the Flood where the covenant are interogating Keezs.

I'd think that the Covenant would have superior techniques for interrogation. Also, how the Elites 'talk' seemed to me unrealistic, and also improbable. And yeah, how the hell would he have been able to conceal a pistol, anyways?

The story was..interesting. But I
think the elite would have checked
Monroe for weapons and also you
would have to have a rather large
pocket to conceal a pistol.
