PFC. Freddy Rugiez recorded a message to his mother during the assault on Jericho Iv. He was killed while recording his message when the Covenant overran the barriers and slaughtered everybody in the camp. Not one soldier the survived the attack on Beta Camp housing the 165th Infantry division. Later that month the Covenant glassed that planet killing 9,000,000.
Later that year Master chief fled reach on the Pillar of autumn and landed on halo. A few months after Master Chief landed on halo a memorial and funeral for the casualties on Jericho Iv. Was held on Earth, hundreds of thousands of people attended the memorial/funeral service. Amy joined the UNSC and fought the covenant as a long sword fighter. Every missile she launched had the same words stenciled on the missiles. " Here's one for PFC. Rugiez and here's one for me" Amy Rugiez died in action aboard her long sword fighter battling for the defense of Reach, when her long sword smashed into a Covenant Seraph fighter. Freddy and Amy's mom died later that year of shock and insanity. Freddy's and Amy's dad joined the UNSC and became a Drop ship pilot and aided in the defense of earth when himself and his co-pilot destroyed a Covenant cruiser by shooting there chain guns into the unshielded generator room of the cruiser. Freddy father is still in the defense of earth ferrying soldiers to place to place. Authors note*
Hey guys I sat sitting in front of my computer for awhile before this thinking what its really like being holed up in a situation with no outside contact, with enemies pressing at the gates, and the possibility of immediate painful death is always around....all of us may play war games but not many of us have been to war.
