Morpheus Celebrates April 14th Birthdays with Special April 14th Montages
Morpheus celebrated his birthday at the end of last week (Happy Birthday, sir!) by releasing a new montage in honor of April 14th birthdays! There are four different montages that SillyGoose created for his and his friend Sandman's birthdays which are also on the 14th. Morpheus has each montage linked to in his post in our forum! Dumb Ways to Die (in Video Games)

Looking (way) down the road
Silly me, thinking that coming up for air once meant things would level out a little... While you're waiting for the return of our regularly scheduled events, check out this article at Bloomberg. Bonnie Ross is the focus of a piece on women in gaming, and while there are a number of interesting parts, what stood out to me was a comment she made about the goals of the studio with respect to the life of the Halo franchise. I posted this on our forum a couple of days ago, and the discussion's been pretty lively - join in!

Modding is fun
As MCC issues continue, the modders remain a powerful source of new material - there's a video showing off more Halo 4 UNSC weapons with aim-down sights (the Spartan Laser actually seems MORE useful with this - the first weapon I've seen that this is true), a video showing Halo 4 QuickTime Events in 3rd person view (this is just silly), and a Halo 4 Promethean 'horse' (there are no words). Forerunner Light Rifle - already fan-prototyped
Okay, this is silly-fast... but DaFrontlineTrooper has actually created a replica of the Forerunner Light Rifle, first shown to the public a couple of weeks ago. It's not perfect - but geez, he learned of its existence 2 weeks ago! Go watch. Thanks, bs angel. SingleHaloClips - April 2012 Communitytage
RVideo let us know about a new video posted at The Halo Forum - it's a communitytage edited by SillyGoose. Pretty heavy on the Sniper kills (not surprising), but a pretty solid watch even so. (The DMR Killtastrophe about 3:30 in cleansed the palate nicely.) Mostly Reach, but older games appear here and there.
