Listen to some symphonic Halo goodness from the Danish Symphony
On our forum the other day, SNIPE 316 highlighted a Halo music medley performed by the Danish National Symphony Orchestra back in 2018. I'd never seen this performance before, and it's pretty great, including a performance of "On a Pale Horse", in my opinion one of the series' great underrated tracks. Give it a listen!

Flooding Your Dreams
Methew over at the Waypoint Halo Universe forums noticed a disturbingly awesome take on the Timeless One from the Halo Forerunner Trilogy by Greg Bear. Halo Bulletin 4.10.13
GrimBrother One pointed out that this week's Halo Bulletin is live - there's plenty of Halo goodness to be had, including info on the CSR and Spartan Ops Challenges (as well as tips to help you rank up and win stuff), CSR statistics, new Halo avatar gear, weapon balance details, and Halo 4 DLC sales. I Hope a Dodge Viper makes it into Halo 4...
...or a Pagani Zonda; already looks like a spaceship! Anyway, SIX min WHISTLE let our forum know that he found a full walkthrough of the Halo 4 Warthog as featured in the Autovista Mode of the awesome Forza Motorsport 4 for the Xbox 360. Whether you have the game and just want a sneak peek, or aren't a car-lover (nobody's perfect) and don't want to miss a bit of Halo goodness, it's a very cool thing to check out! Classic Halo goodness from Edge

Waypoint - Chock-full of Halo Goodness
Totally spaced on the Weekly Wrap-up at Halo Waypoint - there are a few things you may not have seen:
- The Weekend Webcomic is a new episode of Master Chief's Pets, a series started last year by warrioronlydude.
- There's a new episode of Halo Reach: Headshot, covering Breakpoint.
- Death McGunz took Jonathan Coulton's "Re: Your Brains" and added Halo footage to it. (Plus a bit more.)
- Sometimes, crates are evil.
- 8-Bit Brigade hosted a holiday fundraiser for Child's Play, and there was plenty of Halo schwag for the taking. (This ended yesterday, unfortunately. Sorry.)
There are also plenty of screenshots worth seeing. And there are some exclusive bits you might have missed:
- MEGA Bloks' Assault on Squad 45 is now up - both Part 1 (which we mentioned last week) and Part 2 (which is exclusive to Waypoint) - amazing stop-motion stuff!
- The Return, a story from Halo: Evolutions, was turned into an animated comic on Xbox LIVE back this spring, and makes its web debut now. It's 20 minutes long, the art is spectacular, and if you missed it on LIVE, here's your chance to see it.
- The latest OutREACH segment is an interview with XerxdeeJ, the leader of Tied the Leader. Great discussion about how a little bit of planning can make your Halo experience much more positive!

Emerald City ComiCon - now with Halo goodness
CaptainTony pointed out that 343 Industries will be present at the Emerald City ComiCon on March 13, to discuss recent releases and upcoming Halo developments. And bentllama waited until his mouth wasn't full of pancakes to tell folks that he will be one of the artists in Artist Alley - he'll be doing live digital sketching, and charity commissions! Sleightrocity - The Postmortem
This weekend, a few of us got together for some Halo goodness and Philly cheesesteaks at the Casa de Chavez - a good time was had by all. (My high school journalism teacher can't even give me a hard time for using that phrase, because I DID talk to everyone there, and they DID all have a good time.) A thread on our forum was kicked off by Sep7imus, who contributed an awesome writeup... and Mig added a bunch of pictures as commentary. Avoid Spikes - now with Halo Goodness
Our old friend dogsounds has gotten in touch - he has a comic strip called 'Avoid Spikes' which hasn't been about Halo... until recently. His graphic tablet died, so he's resorted to Halo 3 screenshots to tell his story - so until a new tablet can be afforded, you're likely to see a lot of Halo content in the strip! I'm not crying, because I don't want to.
Some of you may have noticed the little cake showing up next to yesterday's date at the top of the page - it marked the 9th anniversary of the inception of this site. It was blam.bungie.org back then, and in fact just a single, blurry picture stolen from Marathon... but it grew into the site you're reading now. And I'm still amazed by that. DualView - cool? Or lame?
This product looks like it could be awesome... or it could totally suck. If it works, it means full-screen Halo goodness for two people - on a single screen. Jasman's Halo Toys at SDCC
Action Figure Insider has an article about some upcoming Halo goodness to be seen at San Diego ComicCon this week - the Halo laser tag set from Jasman Toys, last mentioned a month ago, will be on display at the Tor Books booth. (These products, a plasma rifle and a plasma pistol, will be available in October, with an energy sword coming next year. The Jasman website has no information yet about the Halo stuff. A look at campaign trailers over the years
Ever since the E3 trailer was released last week, I've seen occasional 'it doesn't feel right' posts describing the emotions generated by the trailer (usually comparing it to older Halo trailers). Some fans have assumed that this 'offness' is due to a lack of time, or effort, by the crew putting together the trailer - but that crew is Film Oasis, the guys behind quite a few bits of Halo goodness over the years. They're not known for their shoddiness. Narcogen, at Rampancy.net, has looked at ALL major Halo trailers, starting at the 1999 MacWorld trailer, and has come up with a different explanation - the Halo 3 trailers, both the announcement trailer at E3 06 and the current E3 07 trailer, are built in such a way that while fans can get a sense for what Halo 3 might have in store for them, it's hard to build false expectations and hopes based on what we've been given. That is: you won't be hearing a lot of 'but I really wanted to play that level! Bungie cheated me!' complaints, as you did after Halo 2 was released (without the E3 03 level in it).
