CMT's Silent Cartorapher: Evolved
Ifafudafi, from CMT, let us know that their new Custom Edition map, The Silent Cartographer: Evolved - Cartographer Encounter, is coming along swimmingly. Halo Custom Edition: Takedown - Project Lawson
MatthewDratt has released Takedown: Project Lawson, a single-player map for Halo: Custom Edition. You can find a trailer here (it's a year old), a ViDoc showing off some of the characters you'll interact with (fun!), the actual download from the HaloCE3 website, or more info (screens, videos, discussion, etc) from HaloMaps.org. Halo: Spartan Assault Coming to Verizon First In the US
Joystiq pointed out that the phone version of Halo: Spartan Assault will launch first on Verizon. Not only do you have to have a Windows 8 device, but now you HAVE to be a Verizon customer to play this game :(. I have no idea what this means for Windows 8 tablets and PCs. We'll keep you updated. ibkang1 asked Frank O'Connor about a new modded gametype released recently - it's pretty good news for folks who like to play unusual gametypes in custom Halo 4 games. (Pay close attention to Frank; this is NOT an official 343 statement, you should NOT take what he says as permission to host/release modded content... he says they're being reasonable, and looking at things on a case-by-case basis, and the Race gametype they just saw will not get you banned. Recently, Matthew Dratt let us know about Halo CE3, an upcoming live streamed show based on Halo Custom Edition - they will be showing off brand-new content from the Halo Custom Edition community. Takedown: Project Lawson - Halo CE SP Project
MatthewDratt dropped by the forums to share news of a new single-player project for Halo: Custom Edition called Takedown: Project Lawson. His project will feature voice overs and cinematics and is currently looking for voice actors to help him finish.
