Beware the Mysterious Bubble Lock
Dojorkan was just trying to... well, I'm not sure what; a bubble shield won't generally help you from a Ghost bearing down on your position... but the Halo gods were smiling on him - this time, they gave him just a hint of armor lock at the beginning of his ability. It was enough. (Louis Wu 13:53:06 UTC)

Reach Armor Permutation Glitch
Dojorkan found a way to glitch some funky armor permutations out of Reach; you can't use 'em in the regular game, but you can certainly grab some cool screens. Give his post a read! (Louis Wu 15:43:58 UTC)

I'm on a Ghost!
Dojorkan rewrote the lyrics of The Lonely Island's "I'm on a boat" to be more Halo-related. It's still not safe for work... but it's pretty funny. (Not to be outdone, Pete Cooper submitted his own rewrite, "I'm in a Hog".) (Louis Wu 10:51:29 UTC)

Fresh Prince of Reach
Heh - Dojorkan wrote a parody song that someone seriously needs to put to music. If the lyrics don't sound familiar to you, you can find the original here. (Louis Wu 14:17:19 UTC)

Inside the Shadow of Intent
Owlicious got into the Shadow of Intent, a Covenant ship high above you when you play the Ark. Nice pics! Thanks, Dojorkan. (Louis Wu 18:47:17 UTC)

MLG Halo Boot Camp Sweepstakes at GS
Dojorkan seems to be unhappy about a new sweepstakes he noticed at GameStop - you've got a chance at winning a grand prize package consisting of a training session with one of the Ogre twins, a copy of Halo 2, an Xbox 360 Elite, a Halo 3 headset, a poster, and a t-shirt. All for filling in your name and address. (You've got to be a US resident and 18 to participate.) Doesn't sound like such a bad deal... (Louis Wu 20:27:32 UTC)

Halouvre Update
prometheus was out of the country this spring, so the Halouvre didn't get a lot of updates - but he's back now, and there are a number of new and updated galleries. Check out RVideo's stuff, along with new pieces from Argodaemon, TGO Seraph, Fires7orm, and Dojorkan. Be gentle - every time we mention him, the site goes down! (Louis Wu 06:11:48 UTC)

OMG BANT
Dojorkan has pointed out a very cool video by ExileLord of HaloMods and the response was largely positive. The video, Why We Mod, appears to be an effort to dispell the generalization that all modders are cheaters by showcasing all of the awesome, fun, goofy things that real modders create. Triforce - Trailer
Yesterday, Dojorkan mentioned 'Triforce', a new video series coming from the Promethian Guard. They might have been a little loose with their attributions, but their enthusiasm can't be denied. Go grab the trailer - it weighs in at about 20 mb. (Louis Wu 11:07:01 UTC)

Cool shots
Dojorkan put up a bunch of new, large hudless shots on our forum - some gorgeous stuff! Check 'em out. (Louis Wu 15:24:40 UTC)

Spare him his life.
Dojorkan grabbed a really nice image, and turned it into an icon. (You can see it textless, as well.) Perfect! (Louis Wu 16:56:50 UTC)

Caption Contest #3
Dojorkan posted 3 fun screens, and asked for user-submitted captions - no prizes in this contest, but see how creative you can be! (Louis Wu 12:09:35 UTC)

Dojorkan found a pretty fun pic. (Louis Wu 23:07:48 UTC)

Caption Contest #2
Dojorkan has posted another two pics in his ongoing Caption Contest - swing by the thread and toss your ideas into the pot! (No prizes, just fun.) (Louis Wu 02:49:31 UTC)

Caption Contest
Dojorkan kicked off a 'caption contest', in the spirit of the old ones Bungie use to run, on our forum yesterday. Modded screenshot, you write the caption. (No, there's no prize.) Personally, I think this makes more sense on a flat-style forum... but who am I, anyway? (Louis Wu 11:58:39 UTC)

A Showcased Artifact Gathers No Moss
Dojorkan found a cool little tidbit hidden in plain sight - I say that because I've walked by it dozens of times and never noticed it. (I'm sure I will now receive hundreds of emails from people who DID see it - let's save us both some hassle, and just SAY you sent it... pat yourself on the back for the find.) Is this a sacred rock, with significance in the Halo storyline? Or just some nice looking scenery? You decide. (Louis Wu 05:30:14 UTC)

Halo Hide 'n Seek 2 (solved, hours ago)
c0ld vengeance put up another Halo Hide n' Seek on the forum - it was solved less than an hour later by Dojorkan (again). Still worth trying on your own - some great pics in there (this time all from Outskirts). Check it out! (Louis Wu 02:02:47 UTC)

c0ld's Halo Hide and Seek
He's at it again; c0ld vengeance has posted 10 screenshots on our forum, and challenged you, the viewer, to come up with an exact location for each one. You're going to need to be pretty specific on these... check it out! Update: DOH! 2 minutes after I posted this, c0ld confirmed that Dojorkan had nailed all but one of these. I should have gotten to it sooner... guess you'll have to wait for the next round. (Louis Wu 00:22:51 UTC)

That seems messy - but harmless.
Dojorkan's been playing with unspawned characters again (potential spoilers ahead)... seems like this particular was never used for good reason; why build a bomb shield around a bomb? (Louis Wu 14:39:46 UTC)

Hot-Pocket-Challenged
Halo-related portable media mogul Mintz is the focus of the latest Community Spotlight over at Bungie.net - go read about how far out in the middle of nowhere he actually lives. Dojorkan was first, it seems. (Louis Wu 22:12:13 UTC)

Feed me, Seymour.
If you don't keep up on all the forum doings, or you've been chased away recently by spam attacks (we're working on it), you might have missed a thread about Gravemind, and his full size. You would have missed Dojorkan's overview screenshot (or a lightened version), and you would have missed c0ld's rotating movie shot (and the subsequent 3D version), as well. Good stuff! Xbox7887's Trainer Leads to a Screenshot Cornucopia
So about a week ago, we mentioned a new screenshot trainer developed by xbox7887 (well, sort of - we mentioned the pictures synide took with it). Turns out a LOT of people have been playing with this - a few days ago, Dojorkan took a bunch of really cool shots of Cortana, the Prophet of Truth, and Delta Halo (if you don't like RAR files, we're hosting all of these locally - you can find his originals in a folder labeled 'originals-darker', but we've also added some color-corrected ones, for folks who find the originals TOO dark), and Sorahn has been playing with a panoramic picture stitcher - check out these ridiculously high-res shots. (He added another set of pics later on - not scenery, so much, but some cool hi-res stuff nonetheless, plus some fun interface pics.) (Louis Wu 18:09:27 UTC)

Too short to reach the pedals.
Dojorkan posted a bunch of pics yesterday on our forum - they show grunts and the MC getting into, and driving, the Creep (the Covenant bus that shows up on Outskirts). Apparently... driving animations for these guys were actually created, even though you're never actually allowed to get in and drive one! Fun stuff. (Louis Wu 12:20:43 UTC)

Secrets of the Phantom
Stephen Loftus shows no sign of slowing down in his quest to fully delineate the known vehicles and structures in the Halo universe; his latest subject is the Phantom Troop Carrier. Armaments, interior space, carrying capabilites - he (with the help of Dojorkan, who supplied some of the pictures) lays it all out for you; go read up! (Louis Wu 17:35:04 UTC)
