A week of Halo Infinite news starts with a campaign and multiplayer drop
The Xbox Games Showcase kicked off today, and 343 has posted an associated Waypoint article on the game's multiplayer reveal. In addition to details on the new BTB mode and customization, the rest of the week will have gameplay and some lore drops from Grim. April's Inside Infinite talks PC shop
This month's installment of Inside Infinite dropped earlier this evening, and focuses on the PC version of the game. In addition to the news earlier that multiplayer and progression will carry across platforms, we get some great new (ultra wide) campaign screenshots that will sate Xbox owners. Rocket Sloth Spins the Tale of a Lost CE Easter Egg
Youtuber Rocket Sloth recently posted a video about a mysterious image discovered in the Gearbox port of Combat Evolved, and the curious rediscovery of the cut Easter egg in an old build of the game years later. Bad Cyborg is now local
For years (well, decades - we started reporting on his megabattle obsession in early 2004), Rockslider has been exploring the depths of the original Halo physics, and reporting his results. There are literally hundreds of videos in his collection, and the level of his commitment has been breathtaking. Recently, however, he announced that he was moving on from Halo, and that he was going to let the badcyborg.net domain expire. It's a little sad that I would have allowed this to go by without a mention had it not been for GrimBrother One (I'm not even sure I remembered what month it is, much less the day)... but two decades ago, on this day, HBO came into being, starting as blam.bungie.org. To everyone who's ever visited, who's participated in our forums or sent us fan creations to share with the world or simply used our news page to keep up on the details about one of the best console shooters ever... Artist Jamie Bull Creates Awesome Set of Posters for Original Halo Trilogy

Rockslider Has New Videos of Merging Silver and Gold Elites, as Well as Pillar of Autumn Crewman
Rockslider continues to put out impressive content with a couple of new videos! Their first shows off a new color of merged elites (as well as a how-to to accomplish these merged Covenant corpses!) using merged silver and gold elites in Halo: CE. The next one seems a little creepy to me using human, but hey, the effect of merging POA crewman is pretty cool, and fun as well when they start using the grunts to help! (MacGyver10 21:33:23 UTC)

Catching Up with The Halo Community Update 05/24/18 - 'Duty in Battle'
Well summer has started for the MacGyver family, but Halo news didn't get the memo to slow down (even more so than it already has during this dryspell of mainline Halo game news)! Thanks to davidfuchs for the heads up on last week's Halo Community Update! Looks like the new Fireteam arcade game is mentioned with a FAQ (canon story, coming to places other than Dave & Busters/North America), some details on upcoming e-sports stuff and MCC community playdate all in one place. The Halo TV Series with Steven Spielberg Possibly Starting to Film in October in Budapest, Hungary
While we might need to take this with a grain of salt right now, it seems the Halo TV series might have a filming location and start time for this October in Budapest, Hungary. As of right now, we have no confirmation (no, fake Kiki accounts don't count) if this is true or not, but hopefully this is actually going to happen! (MacGyver10 15:16:29 UTC)
