Welcome to the 7 on the Seventh Halo 2 Soundtrack V2 Contest voting section! (The original contest page is here.) We'd like to apologize for the delay in getting this section up; there were over 250 entries for this contest - we (the b.org admin staff) needed to pare that down to a reasonable number so that you didn't feel totally overwhelmed by the task of voting! (If you've voted in our annual Halloween Pumpkin contest, or our Killer Grunts contest, this interface should be familiar to you.)

The process is (hopefully) pretty simple. There are a total of 49 images to vote on (we narrowed it down to our favorite 20%). You'll be faced with 17 entries at a time. Scroll down the list - if you see one that catches your fancy, check the 'Add to Faves' box. Be sure to click the thumbnails - you simply cannot judge the entries except as large images. [As an aside, I would like to personally apologize for the clunky interface - if I'd had more time, it would be a LOT smoother; you'd get one image per page, with 'fave' checkboxes at the bottom, and forward and back navigation. This has already token MUCH longer than we'd said it would, though, so I used an interface we already had.] You can save up to 7 entries at a time this way. (If you select more than 7, you'll need to reduce your total before moving on - but don't worry, it's easy to do - just uncheck the box(es) that you're not interested in any more when prompted.) Page through the whole collection this way; after you fill up your 'Favorites' section, you'll only need to decide which of your existing Favorites isn't as good as your newest one. When you get to the last page, you'll be given the choice to go through again - or call it a day and stick with the 7 you've picked. (You can pick less than 7, too, if you really can't find 7 you like... but we'd rather you filled your voting card.)

You're selecting images on the basis of how funny they are, how closely they adhere to their chosen theme (all images had to be themed to a track from one of the Halo Soundtrack volumes), and how funny the caption is.

When you're happy with your votes, and you're sure that you've seen them all, go ahead and hit the 'I'm happy with these choices' button under the Favorites section. If you haven't voted yet, this will register your 7 (or fewer) votes.
