This is truly a good story, you seem to be able to achieve the quality of story i want to write but i can't quite get there.
The best bit about your story (so far) is that you've created a pretty realistic continuation from Halo:CE. Which can be a hard thing to do since that's the sort of thing people critasize the most.
Anyway bring on the next part!

A long timne ago I heard El_Halo_Dioblo ranting about a halo/starcraft crossover, but that was monthes ago.

I love the story, its real cool. I don't mind the SC gear. I have the game and it makes the book more realistic( even though its set like 500+ years in the future). I didn't even notice the names.

To Diablo: If you read the first chapter, the part where I describe the ship, I mention the fact that it was a Human/Covanent hybryid and that it has sheilds and plasma torps.
Too Steele: Yes, they are his best, but you forgot Sum of all Fears and Clear and Present Danger.
To Warthog: I will be elaborating on the [i]true[/i]reason for his defection in later chapters, If you've read Hunt for Red October, it will be along the lines of Marko Ramiuse's defection; a more personal reason then it seems.
To Smeg: I would appreciate it.
Also, before I forget: Is anyone planning a Halo/Starcraft crossover? I'm thinking of doing one when I finish this series, that is if no one else is doing one.

It is good. Very well thought out.but i have one question. when did the humans get the plasma torpeados. why did u add that it was short and not needed.

the story sucked. the ending was too, far too cut short and too sudden. And anyway, the ship master would've accepted his fate, not cower away from it. Wasn't this supposed to be a holy war?

HEY! Some of 'Clancy's work is good. Like: Rainbow Six, Hunt for Red October, SSNN, Without Remorse, Red Storm Rising, and Patriot Games.
The others were kinda on the political boring crap.

8.5/10. Besides the splinter cell stuff, there was only one thing wrong with it.
There was no sorrow at losing the POA's crew.

sorry about using the names. I'm not very good at making them up, and I also sorta wanted to pay homage to Rainbow Six, my favorite book of all time. I used the gear from Splinter Cell because A. It is very useful in many situations, and B. It's cool. I'm working on the next one now, should be up in about a week.

This is one of the better Halo FFs that I've seen here, it's pretty good! However, you need to think up some new character names- stealing everything from Rainbow six isn't cool!
