Upon reading it again I thought the same thing myself. I didn't think it would be so long.
And since it's my story I might as well do some self-promotion. Make sure to read all the Last Fortress series!

I liked this - the urgency of battle and all that was *very* good. Only thing is, I found myself skimming a little towards the end, maybe if you'd broken the formatting up a wee bit?
Anyway, I look forward to reading more
