It sounds like you assigned yourself a few Halo names and set out to write a mildly Sci-Fi story.
Certainly pointless, yet I couldn't help but finish reading it... funny that.

I must say, you've got one thing down very well: Getting to the point! Though I must agree, I wonder what is going on, and, heck, I really didn't understand any of it, it was concise!

I kinda think it stunk too. I am just getting used to write Fan Fiction. That was my second story I've written so far.
