The Grunts have been brain washed, just like the jackals and Hunters. They do not know they are enslaved, they think that the Humans are evil, and had started the war. But why would they help enslave the Brutes? Again, they think the Brutes are there just to work. They have no knowledge of anything. Everyone in the room at the beginning (Prologue) were Elites.

much much much much much much better than the last one. It was very good the only thing that i can poke at is why would the grunts
help inslave them if they had been inslaved?

If you notice in the first paragraph, the Grunts are holding pistols. Also, they have already been brain washed by the Covenant, they wouldn't want to fight anyhow.

Pretty nice, I can find almost nothing to poke holes in besides that I always considered Brute to be one up the heiarchy from elites... That aside this was a very nice story. You wrote some paragraphs, like the first with excellence, and none were lacking too much. I would have prefered that they use some other thing to keep the Brutes in line being that I doubt a whip would stop one, but it still gets the point across. One of my greates complaints is actually the title... I would have put a space before 1... In any case, this is very good....
