We've been waiting so long
Three years have been the same as an eternity to us
We had the sessions to remember
All those long days and nights
Will come into fruition this November
The days tick by
Slower and Slower each day
We do our best to pass the time
Living out our Halo 1 ways
The day before
Our loyalties will be put to the test
The night before when we sleep
We will receive no rest
It will be the day from hell
Truly, we will be put under an impatient spell
That day, everything will go wrong
Our loyalties will be tested
Nothing will go right
But we must push through
We must continue our Halo 2 fight
Duel Wielding, Shottys and SMGs galore
We're gonna bust out that s***
And Splatter the TV screens with the Elite's gore
All day we will play the first
Until that time we step into our cars to end this terrible curse
Our Halo fever will be at an unimaginable peak
We are the ones that live for the double kill
But we Strive for that Triple Kill streak
It doesn't matter if you follow my car, or I follow your car
We've been walking this waiting quest so far
We'll race to the first 12 midnight open store we can find
We'll punch, kick, and throw our way through the sicko line
We'll f*** 'em up if they get in our way
We'll fight through the last minutes of our longest day
We'll grab our copies and drive every mile
We'll burn 'em all the way home, Burn-out 3 style
