#Ok so I had to whrite a screen play for a sitcom in English and hey, why not, I made a halo 2 machinema screenplay

Heres some background so you know whats going on, its not really necessary you read it, also wrote a running comentary but it would take to long to put it in in italics, and i wanted to not show the characters in the real world like in RvB but my dumb teacher insisted. I havent read this in half a year so if its bad just be nice. i just previewed it, id better put bold bits in

Genre: Sitcom (Video games and only knowing each other through the internet as comic trap)
Major Setting: Halo 2 and possibly other games

Minor Settings: Homes and workplaces of characters

Plot:
Turtle, Winky, Geronimo and Tooth (AKA Carl Griffin, Kurtis Stephens, Ernie Johnson and James MacFarlane) meet over the Internet while playing video games, they play together and form a clan called "Ninjas on Fire" (Ninjas on Fire is a metaphor which means cool). Comedy is derived from the types of people who play video games and how it affects their lives, how the characters interact (i.e. call each other gay), parodies and social comment (on the topic of video games.)

Characters:
Winky AKA Kurtis Stephens:
Sales rep. at a car yard, nickname comes from him, as a car salesman, winking in advertisements
Red armour colour, plays games when he doesn't have any customers, often pairs up with Turtle because he knows Turtle more, out of him and Turtle, he is less skilled but more of a leader.

Turtle AKA Carl Griffin:
Unemployed, his nickname, Turtle, comes from him being unemployed; turtles are lazy.
Puts all his time and attention towards games.
Always gets killed by Winky.

Geronimo AKA Ernie Johnson:
University Student, Tooth's roommate so he and Tooth are inclined to stick together when they play, but they are of equal skill and neither takes a leadership position, his nickname comes from his surname; Geronimo and Johnson both start with a "J" sound.

Tooth AKA James MacFarlane:
University Student, nickname because MacFarlane is a farmer's name and farmers are stereotyped as having bad teeth (explored in a later episode).

(Characters in the script are refered to by their nicknames in the game environment and their real names when in the real world)

Episode length: 10 min (games can last from 5 minutes to an hour)

Intended Audience: Video gamers, would also appeal to young people who aren't gamers. (About 60 percent of those surveyed said they thought it was funny from reading the script)

Parental Rating: M - Infrequent Course Language
- Adult Themes
- Violence
-
Time Slot: Friday evening, possibly in a half hour slot with other machinema such as Red vs. Blue, preferably on ABC or SBS (because these channels cater for shows with more specific intended audiences)

ok you can start reading from here

Ninjas on Fire, Episode 1:
Locked Out – No Return, Part 1

Setting: 2 vs. 2, Elimination on Lockout (Halo Multiplayer)

Plot: Winky, Turtle, Geronimo and Tooth meet for the first time in a game of 2 vs. 2, Elimination on Lockout.

Turtle is convinced that Winky is gay but Winky comes up with a non-gay explanation. in a later eppisode

A social comment is made about how voice masking (used to hide your identity in an internet environment) is hard to understand.

The actions of Turtle and Winky parody Jurassic Park and American movies in general.

parody of farcry instincts evolution (" what have I done")

A fake ad such as in CNNNN parodies Lost.

Winky (as credits play): What I still don't understand is how I killed Turtle when the grenade had already killed him, or what happened to the guy who threw the grenade.
