Like a restless rat
My mind rattles 'round
Inside my head.
Ever climbing, ever moving forward,
Yet only arriving to where I started.
I am the only one,
Caught in this infinite loop.
Blood of different colors litters the floor,
The remnants of friends and enemies no more.
Echoing through my ears, all their screams
Become so clear as they haunt my dreams.
I am all alone.
And yet I fight.
Running wild, this world swirling around me,
My thoughts and actions begin to blur.
Only with eyes now closed can I see
That which I fight for. I Fight for Her.
