Here's a short poem for you guys, I just thought it up in my spare time so it won't be as good as the other one. But I hope ya like it anyway.
In the days gone by, we wonder of comrades and friends,
Who died in a fight that seemed never to end.
And in our wonder, we seem to discover,
That there is no hope and soon it will be over.
For a struggle now rages as the covenant grow near,
And everything is threatend for which we hold dear.
But soon it will end, and the victor will decide,
Honor and valor are now tossed aside.
For in this bloodshed nothing is sacred,
For we all shall perish our souls full of hatred.
And now we wonder in the days gone by,
If all will be won, or all shall die.
A tribute to UNSC Marines fighting to hold off the covenant on earth
Semper Fi.
