Taking you away,
Away from your homeland.
But it's gonna be okay,
It'll all go as planned.
We'll train you,
We'll feed you,
You'll even get a home.
We'll clothe you,
We'll keep you,
But you're not free to roam.
You'll eventually grow,
But for the greater cause.
You'll be able to bestow,
And without any flaws.
They are coming,
O yes they are!
Forever drumming,
Coming only to mar.
But you'll show them,
O yes you will!
And they'll condemn,
But you shall kill!
Banish them to the fiery depths of Hell!
They deserve it,
Or else their population will slowly swell!
You'll have to admit,
That our civilization cannot impel!
You Spartans are my family,
And I hope the best for you.
I can only pray for tragedy,
For the Covenant debut.
I told you that it would be okay,
And you'd make the Covenant pause.
I told you that they would pay,
Because you grew up for the better cause.
The Covenant will slowly decay,
Because we borrowed you for the better cause!
