Author's Note: This poem is meant to serious and funny. It also is meant to be sung to a tune which I will try to get on the comments page as soon as possible. Please enjoy the following ballad.
Three Spartans walked in the desert heat
They had thought that they couldn't be beat,
But they'd just been beaten by Covenant men
By an Elite Commander called MeSoleesen.
And they ran across the desert like an angry woman,
And they tried to hide their trail like an angry woman.
Ooohh...just like an angry woman.
Now by this time they were low on supplies
They noticed that buzzards circled the skies.
The Covenant soldiers were catching up,
But those three Spartans weren't about to give up.
So they set up a canyon defense like an angry woman,
And they tried to call for reinforcements like an angry woman.
Ooohh...just like an angry woman.
The Covenant knew that they'd killed them all
Now it was time for the Spartans to fall,
But the Spartans ambushed the Covenant like an angry woman,
And they held the canyon defense like an angry woman.
Ooohh...just like an angry woman.
The Spartans thought that they were done
They were almost for sure that the Covenant won,
But the Covenant fled at the break of dawn
They ran from the one that the Spartans called John.
And John destroyed alot with his tank like an angry woman,
And he caused a mass of destruction like an angry woman.
Ooohh...just like an angry woman.
The three Spartans ran to the Scorpion's side
They hopped right on and hitched 'em a ride
They thanked John as they rode away,
And that's why we sing this song today.
