Adapted from the poem Remember Me by Christina Rosetti.
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no longer smile at me,
And see my victories pile.
Remember me when no longer day by day,
I save you from foes, both just and evil
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me a while,
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if war and ravaging leave
A picture of me standing yet,
Better by far you forget and smile,
Than that you should remember and be sad.
