Kidnapped very young, on an unknown journey
Am I going on an adventure? Is there a reason to worry?
Through training, blood, sweat, and tears
I stand ready to face head on against my fears.
Dr. Halsey, changed my life that day
When she proclaimed to me of my new life
I feel no hate, no love, no emotion at all
But do I feel when I see a comrade fall?
I have my purpose, my sworn duty to keep.
Fighting for Earth, so others may peacefully sleep.
Training to fight the enemy, who I know about.
The UNSC may appear strong, but sometimes I have my doubt.
What is it that defines a hero?
Does it take vigorous training?
Or is it the people that call for a savior, that still are in waiting?
My destiny lies fogged, unknowing of the future ahead.
Failure will not be an option, but vengence for every fallen comrade whose blood was shed.
I am the champion, the savior the people call to.
My time is now, to continue to battle through and through.
Noone will stand in my path, I will battle till the end.
I will be the one that Earth has to defend.
It is my duty to fight, no matter what the cost
To be the shining light against evil when all is lost.
When I have fallen, give me no sympathy.
In it's darkest hour, I will be there to fight the enemy.
