The alarms blare, the Marines run,
The guy beside me shouts
"Oh, this gonna be fun!"
Suddenly the ship shakes,
The deck moves, the bulkheads quake.
And then those alarms just stop
I spin about, my hands drop.
I'm standing at a window, through which I can see
That the Majestic is gone.
And people will die, but not me.
I run away from the glass,
I run towards my post, at last.
I've finally finished the hike
To Romeo Lima Mike
To Bumblebee 43.
I wait until the Captain gives the orders,
And then they come, all those boarders.
But still Marines make the hike
To protect, to defend Romeo Lima Mike,
To defend Bumblebee 43.
Then they come aboard, they strap in.
I know it's time for my rapid descent to begin.
When eight people are on,
I press the button then I shoot from
The dying Majestic, the broken lady
The space battle continues all around me
All around my precious Bumblebee
I see others escape 'Her Majesty'
I see them die, I see them burn
But I'm flying Bumblebee 43.
My hull begins to grow cherry red.
Through the atmosphere much heat is bred.
I keep my hands on the controls
I'll fly just like I've been told
Down towards Alpha Caridanis IV.
The ship begins to descend,
In the stress my hull begins to bend.
I burn through white clouds
Now we're all land bound.
But I'm going too fast towards the floor.
I fire the forward thrusters
Bumbleebees are coming down in clusters.
The rear fins flap apart;
This is the part that takes heart.
Then we make land.
My precious Bumblebee
Hits the land and then
It comes apart all around me.
But I made it off 'Her Majesty'
Aboard Bumblebee 43
I pull myself out of chair,
I take off my helmet and free my hair.
It's time to make the hike
Away from Romeo Lima Mike
