Soldiers of Heaven: Chapter 1

Pelican Eagle 118 and it's cargo of Spartan V's lowered to the ground. Falcon was the Spartan V squad leader. He carried a MA5B Assault Rifle, dual M6D Pistols, and 20 Frag Grenades. The second-in-command was Hawk. She carried a Battle Rifle, dual SMG's, and 20 Frag Grenades. Then there was Deroi. He was the team medic. He carried a Battle Rifle, dual M9D Pistols, and 20 Frags. He also carried a medkit. The team sniper was Tex. He carried a S3 SA Sniper Rifle, a L1 "Laser" Weapon, a SMG, and 10 Frags. The Artilleryman was Devil. He carried a M22 LMG(light machine gun), a M95 Shotgun, a M9D Pistol, and 15 Frags. Last but not least, there was MSDO(Master Supporting Demolitions Officer). He was the last surviving MSDO. He carried a M45 SAM Rocket Launcher, a M95 Shotgun, a L1 "Laser" Weapon, and 15 Frags.
Eagle 118 dropped its cargo with the other 10 Pelicans. 2 dropships were blown to pieces by the Wraith Tank's Motar blast. The Spartan V's charged up to fight the mixed group of 50 grunts, 40 Jackals, 30 Elites, and 6 Hunters. The Covenant started firing and the marines returned fire. The Spartans watched as marines and Covenant alike fell to the ground( Some Covenant deathes were by the Spartans ). Devil, MSDO, and Tex sprinted to hill, while the other 3 kept firing with the marines. Falcon threw one of his grenades, watching 5 elites, 10 grunts, and 2 jackals being blown to bits. One of the jackals arms flew right at Deroi.Hawk had no trouble killing covenant. She shot down the brutes with her dual SMG's like she was playing this as a game on easy level. Devil also enjoyed watching M22 LMG shells ripping through the bastards."MSDO, blow up those Wraith tanks before they kill any more marines," ordered Falcon over the Com Link.
"Hawk, Deroi, come with me. We're going to try to flank the enemy." Hawk and Deroi followed Falcon as MSDO fired a rocket at one of the Wraith Tanks. The three Spartans got into position as they fired against the covenant. Almost all of the Covenant were killed until a marine reported 20 Wraith Tanks, 100 Elites, 400 Jackals, and at least 1000 Grunts charging up to their position. Falcon didn't know how long they could hold them off as a 600 marine battalion against a 1500 Covenant Legion. Falcon saw the Covenant coming and ordered his troops to fall back.
Tex sniped more covenant(mostly elites), MSDO rocketed more Wraiths, and Devil ripped Covenant lines one-by-one, but the efforts were not good enough to destroy all the covenant. After about 5 minutes, the 60 marines left retreated back to the hills( not including Falcon's squad). Covenant checked the dead human bodies and laughed. They thought they would win, but they were wrong. Falcon then ordered to fire at the covenant in the hills and it seemed to have great effect. The marines kept killing as the Covenant kept missing. Until there was only 10 elites, 20 grunts, and 15 Jackals, the cowards retreated back to their base. All of the humans charged screaming. Before all the Covenant retreated, the marines were able to kill an elite, 3 grunts, and 2 Jackals. Falcon ordered Deroi, MSDO, Devil, and Tex to stay and protect the marines if anything came. Falcon and Hawk stepped into the base . Before long, The 4 Spartans, and 60 marines were fighting for their lives.
Falcon and Hawk crept through the thin hall looking all around. Falcon saw one grunt up in a corner and he pulled his one of his M6D pistols and shot the little monster to death. Then Falcon told Hawk to get up onto the ledge to investigate. Hawk jumped up to Falcon's shoulders then jumped up to the higher level of the base. Hawk stepped cautiosly on the steel ground under her.
Devil was shelling Covenant, MSDO was shooting holes in Covenant bodies with his L1 "Laser" Weapon, Tex was sniping heads, and Deroi was busy helping wounded soldiers.
One-by-one the monsters were being shot down, but also humans. This battle was like living hell to all of the surviving marines. They saw their friends, family, and just marines dying. But the survivors were also happy that they saw more covenant dying. They would fight, even if it meant life or death.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I WILL NOT BE WRITING ANYMORE SURVIVAL OR DEATH STORIES. I REALLY HATE IT. I HOPE THIS ONE IS BETTER.
Soldiers of Heaven: Chapter 2

NOTE: IN THE FIRST CHAPTER, WHEN I SAID, "SHE SHOT DOWN THE BRUTES...", I WAS REFERRING TO THE COVENANT, NOT THE NEW ENEMY CALLED THE BRUTE IN HALO 2.
Falcon and Hawk desperately fired against the Covenant waves. To the two Spartan squad leaders, there were at least 100 Covenant charging them and at least 300 more covenant were inside the base. The duo of Spartans decided to race up to a safe spot and fire from there. They sprinted up to a platform and effectively shot down more covenant. Hawk threw through a grenade at a charging squad of elites. The six Elites burst in the air like fireworks. The supersoldiers killed all of the Covenant in the room. They hurried to what they thought was the control room. They were right. But a Commander Elite spotted the two and the elite and his counterpart charged up to the spartans, activating their plasma swords. Falcon dodged the elite's swings, then with his pistol, he fired right into the heart of the monster. But Hawk wasn't as lucky. The elite was able to slice some of her skin of from her arm. Hawk fired some of her rifle's rounds, taking the pain. Then with a sudden jolt, the elite charged up to her, pushing his plasma sword through Hawk's chest. Before he could turn to Falcon, he shot his pistol at the elite's head, pouring parts of its brain and blood onto the surface. The standing Spartan raced to Hawk's side. He checked her vitals; she still had one more. Falcon then spotted the thing the strike team was looking for. The data file that had all the information of the Covenant, including the Covenant homeworld. He picked up Hawk then grabbed the file then he sprinted back to the marines and his other squadmates.
The marines thought they couldn't fight off the Covenant reinforcements. Some of them even thought of surrendering. Devil also called for reinforcements. But he thought that the reinforcements would come after the Covenant stepped their feet on them, laughing in their alien tongues. MSDO even had to borrow Devil's pistol because he didn't have any more ammo for his weapons. Devil fired his last machine gun rounds at an Spec Op elite. He then moved to his shotgun. He was able to blast 3 grunts with one shotgun round. Tex was also losing available guns. All he had left was a SMG and 1 Grenade. Deroi had plenty of ammo. He even lended MSDO one of his pistols and the other to Tex. He was also running out of biomedicine that kept marines alive. Deroi fired some rounds at the covenant before resuming his duty.
Falcon charged down the hallway with his rifle in his right hand, Hawk in his left, and the file in a pocket in his armor. He had to drop one of his pistols just to fit the file into his armor. He shot some charging grunts( the last in the base). He arrived outside and found Deroi."What happened to her?" asked Deroi."She got stabbed into the chest from a plasma sword." replied Falcon. He saw that he was busy. He then decided to do it himself. He took off Hawk's helmet, revealing her brown hair. He took one of the medicines; NafadX. It was a medicine that cured the wounds with cells. He injected it into Hawk's body then checked her vitals. It still was on red. He thought he'd see her shields but then saw that the shields were destroyed also.
Devil used the last round in his shotgun, then he spotted a plasma rifle. He ran to it, while punching a grunts in the head. He picked it up, then fired, killing 20 grunts. That's why they called him Devil. Tex used the last of his SMG then ran to a dead grunt and picking up its plasma pistol. MSDO wasn't as fortunate as the two other spartans were. He ran unarmed to 5 dead elites with no plasma rifles. What bad luck. Finally, he found a plasma pistol. He fired it, but before he even fired 2 bolts, it was dead. The battle raged on for a couple of more minutes before the Covenant called for retreat. The commander elite called something on his plasma link. Then 50 Covenant dropships landed onto the beach. Falcon told the marines to hold their fire. Once the dropships flew away, all the marines jumped up shouting "WE WILL WIN YOU COVENANT FREAKS!"
