Blood Rain: Prologue

Hey, this is my first fan-fic so if this sucks, well, I will do better or something next time.
This just makes what I was going to put in make sense.

Blood Rain: Prologue
"Fire!" yelled Captain Volcun. The ship's MAC guns charged and fired at the nearest covenant ship and busting it up.
"Sir, ship destroyed" said the Cannon controller.
"Good, target and fire any threats!" said the Captain "This is the Black Widow in of reinforcements in Sector 67. Covenant ships are attacking the system and our defences are almost compromised, repeat any UNSC ships able to recieve this transmission all MAC gun orbital defence platforms are destroyed and we are heavily outnumbered 5 to 1."
The Widow and 5 other UNSC ships fire their MAC guns and try to distract the 100 covenant battle fleet ships while the 20 other UNSC ships try and regroup.
"Boarders on approach!" yelled and Techie.
"All Longsword fighters prepare to launch and engage Covenant boarders, Combat personnal prepare to repel the enemy, non-combat personnal get to the armoury, get weapons, and head for the the center of the ship."
Longsword fighters engaged the boarders and in turn the Covenant fleet launched waves of seraph fighter to counter.
"Cartha? Marcan? Anyone on those ships, damn, my ship is only one distracting the fleet." said the captain in pure anger. "Let's show the Covenant the wrath of the human race......"
All of sudden a huge cannon raised from the back of the Black Widow and in turn two somewhat smaller cannons raised from the sides.
"Charge our shields!"
The ship began to glow a ghostly white.
"Charge the cannons!"
The cannons began to create three large balls of energy.
"70 percent!"
50 of the remaining 70 Covenant ships began to engage the regrouping UNSC ships.
"80 percent"
The twenty other Covenant ships began to engage the Experimental Wrath-class Black Widow.
"90 percent"
The Widow's shields flickered and died as the plasma began to melt the Widow's hull.
"100 percent, she's hot"
"Fire!"
The three huge balls of energy cut through the 20 Covenant ships destroying 19 and leaving one severly damaged Covenant crusier that tried to evade the volley. The 40 remaining ships decided to ignore the remaining 5 UNSC ships and engage the Widow as it finished up the damaged cruiser and began to try and recharge their shields. The 5 remaining UNSC ships fired and destroyed 4 of the Covenant ships, but the Covenant continued to head for the Black Widow with its now fully charged shields and its begining to recharge Wrath cannons.
"Fire the MAC guns til the cannons are fully charged. Non-combat personnal and half of the remaining combat personnal get to evac stations and head for Trizon, the planet below us, there engage all covenant until you recieve orders otherwise. Remaining Longsword fighters escort the pelicans and escape pods down to Trizon and return and engage anything you can."
The remaining 20 Covenant ships decided to spilt into 3 groups, 5 to engage the 5 remaining UNSC ships, 5 to head to Trizon to reinforce their troops, and 10 to engage the Black Widow, the savior of mankind.
"This is UNSC frigate Viceroy engaging enemy, you other four ships I'll try to draw fire away while you strike."
"Roger that Viceroy."
The drew away enough fire to allow the others to destroy 3 ships, though the Viceroy destroyed one and was destroyed. The remaining Covenant carrier destoyed one UNSC ship before being destroyed.
"This the UNSC carrier Spider, you seem to be haveing some trouble there Widow."
Nothing but static.
"Widow do you copy?"
"Yeah, bit of trouble with some elites no big."
"Need any he......."
"Sir, the Spider has been destoyed, but has drawn away some fire towards allied ships."
The Widow jumped as a Covenant cruiser fired and crippled the Widow.
"Damage report!" yelled Captain Vulcan.
"Hull breached, one more shot and we're toast."
"Plan a crash course to Trizon, we make our stand there."
The Black Widow moaned as it turned and fired one last shot and destroyed the cruiser that attacked the Widow.
"Sir, the last of the UNSC ships has destroyed the last Covenant ship, besides the five on the ground, and is going to *jump* outa here."
"It seems us and the marines on Trizon are all we have till reinfocements arrive." said the captain.
"Does that mean we won or something?" asked a Marine in the corner.
"Almost," said the captain "Almost."
