Black Knight Pelican Attack: Hot LZ Chapter 1

It was meant to be a routine mission for Captain Jack Thompson of the Black Knight Pelican Squadron. He mission was to drop of some Marines at Base Camp Zulu on Planet Yarvin and return to UNSC London. Yarvin was in great need of reinforcements after the Covenant began their invasion on the planet but, luckily the dense Jungle has hampered their invasion on the planet. Thompson was just hoping that the Covenant won't bother them when they drop of the Marines. Then he thought hell you know how the Covenant are a pain up the back side.
Thompson Gave his co-pilot PFC Jack Ryan a little nudge because he was falling asleep "Wake up Son, do you want to come back in a body bag." He said in a strong Texan accent.
"No Sir."
"Damn right."
They were nearing the base they saw some smoke coming from one of the buildings and heard gunfire and explosions. Thompson turned on his comm link. "Papa bear this is Whiskey 19 we are coming in, do you need hand down their."
For a few seconds the only thing that can be heard was static. "This.... Pa..Pa bear we need assistance.... know, human kill him, shit they broke threw the perimeter ahhhh." The only thing that was heard was a couple of plasma shots then the transmission ended. Ryan was in shock. "No way we are going down their sir?" Thomson replied.
"Hell yeah son." With a grin on his face.
He then shouted to the sergeant of the Marine squad." Sarge we have got a hot LZ better hang on."
"Roger that Captain, ok lads you heard the Captain brace yourselves." Shouted the Sergeant.
Ryan looked back at the Marines in the back as he saw them hang on for their lives." Poor bastards no one should be going threw this." Thompson then replied. "War is hell."
Then a Plasma shots shook the Pelican." A red light came on and then voice from the control panel. "Main boosters have came offline."
"Shit boosters must of been hit, put on auxiliaries boosters" Thompson barked "Damn it come on I can't do it sir, I aint got enough power sir."
"Boot up the B.U.P(Back up power)."
"Good ideal Cap, but we will burn up in the the damn atmosphere on the way back to the UNSC London sir."
Do it anyway Private." Thompson barked.
"Yes sir." think that if he will see his wife and kids again."
"Know lets land this bird."
As a battle sill rages under beneath them. "Land on the platform son"
"Yes sir, I think we got an welcoming committee Cap."
Thompson looked out the window and saw a Colonel with two heavily armed Marines" Where's the red carpet" Captain then turned the comm on. "Thank you for riding with the Black Nights good hunting." The sergeant then shouted to Thompson. "Cheers Captain for the lift good driving, if I ever see you again remind me to buy you and your co-pilot a couple of beers." The Sergeant barked an order and they all got of each one of them saluting the Colonel on the way out who was waiting their.
Jack reached for a bottle of Jack Daniels. "Want a quick glass.
Thompson shook his hand and said. "We better get out of here we are sitting ducks remember this thing aint going to get us of this planet." They both walked out forgetting about the Colonel being out their, then a marine shouted attention. "Both of them stood to attention."
The Colnel said calmly. "At Ease." even if their was a battle still waging the Colnel was around 6'2 in height Thompson and Ryan were up to his shoulder around 50 years of age. "Captain you did some good driving up their, even without tower assistance. Anyway back to the point I need you to get me of Yarvin."
Thompson calmly said. "That isn't possible sir Black Knight 1 is out of commission, in other words the ship has no juice."
"Well this changes things." All a sudden a plasma shot hit one of the marines in the arm. "Ahhhhhhh it burns Medic!"
"Corporal Jones takes him to the medic."
"Sir" The Corporal dragged him to the Field Hospital.
Then the Colonel says. "Ok we need every man who can walk go to the armoury and grab a gun."

Black Knight Pelican Attack: The Tower Chapter 2

They both Saluted an run down the stairs keeping their heads down as plasma flew pass their head then a grunt came running out the tent and a marine wearing an chef uniform came out chasing it with a saucepan and jumped on it beating it to death.
"God Damn that's what I call a can of Kickass."
Ryan said in excitement the Chef then replied.
"Thanks."
"Good one son what's your name."
"Lance Corporal William Clarke A.K.A Chef."
With a high pitched voice.
Ryan looked confused. "You don't mind showing us were the Armoury is."
"Sure thing I need a gun and some armour myself follow me."
All three of them ran to the Armoury. They all ran pass a volley of small arms fire from both sides a Elite came charging at them ,but luckily a Marine sniper took his head of it shoulders. "That was two close for comfort." Ryan said. They continued running and then they heard an explosion. Chef said. "What the hell was that?! Sounds like the 4th of July."
Thompson said "I hope that wasn't the Armoury."
"Nah that was probably one of our bombers" in a hopeful voice
Chef walked on to see if explosion came from the Armoury. "Hey Captain, Ryan I think you come here." They both walked to Chef and saw the Armoury on fire one Marine ran out on fire two other Marine try to put out the fire on his back but, by the time they did it he was Dead. A Sergeant came and took his Dog tag. Thompson then recognised the Sergeant it was the one he delivered on this wasteland of a planet thought.
"Sergeant, you don't have any spare weaponry do you?" The Sergeant slowly turned around and saluted and said. "I'm glad to see you still alive."
Thompson then saluted him back "At ease, thanks glad to see you made it to, anyway do you have any spar guns lying about?"
"Yes Sir, we have a couple of MA5B Rifle's, and a M90 shotgun."
"Thank you Sergeant, okay I take the M90 Ryan, and Chef you take the Rifle's"
"Yes Sir." Ryan
"Yes Sir." Chef
"Sir we had orders to defend the Armoury but, it has been destroyed so what should we do know Sir?" Confused
"Where is the Colonel Stationed?"
"The tower what is left of it Captain."
"Okay get your Squad we are moving out to the Tower"
"Sir, Okay ladies you heard him we are moving out to the tower"
"Sergeant I didn't catch your name?
"Sergeant Ben Harrison B Company, Sir."
"Okay let's move out!"
Now the nine man Squad moved out with Thompson, Ryan, and Chef at the back as they pass the tent camp a Covenant Troopship was going to land Harrison hen says "We got Bandit coming in I guess they trying to flank the Marines at the frontline, Jimmy get the Jackhammer Ready hide in the tent, goes for everyone else hide in the tents wait for my order to fire. Captain Ryan you might want to come with me"
"Sure" Thompson said. Chef went in the other tent with Jimmy. Harrison thought all the tent would provide us some camouflage and ambush the troop ship when it land's and take them all out at once. The Troopship was about 10 feet then dropped write in the middle of the compound Harrison raised his hand then signalled to open fire. A Jackhammer Missile went threw the air aiming write between the two compartments by the time the Covenant pilot saw it the troopship blew. Both of the troop compartments fell to the ground killing all inside the Marine who fire it Jimmy said "Yeah baby, my first Covenant Troopship I can't wait to tell Ma and Pa when I get home."
"If you get home." Another Marine said under his breath.
"Cut the chatter we need to get to the Tower move out people."
Harrison shouted. After the Action Ryan got excited thinking that he going to go home not in a body bag. They all finally got to the Tower but, before then a Grunt ran out side the entrance being chased by Marines it hid behind an overturned Warhog the Sergeant said to everyone. "I'm going try and take it prisoner take it out if tries to shoot me." Harrison got his combat knife out and sneaked up on it he then got it by the neck. "One false move and I tear your face off". It nodded Harrison took his gun and threw it to Thompson. He then lifted it up and bought it inside." Jimmy then said "Cute little critter how come we are fighting them." The Marine next to him said "Damn Farmboy's, that cute critter would kill your grandma if it had the chance." He then slapped him around the back of the head. Harrison said to his squad. "Take five Marines I need to see the Colonel." Sergeant Harrison, Captain Thompson, and the Grunt went up the stairs.
