On September 2, 2005, Bungie announced that they'd be putting together a collection of rare (mostly one-of-a-kind) memorabilia to be auctioned off to help with the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. It took a little while to work out the logistics... but on October 28, the auctions were finally ready to go live. Below, you can find the goodies available for auction (click the images for larger views); remember that these auctions are not limited to the US—anyone in the world can bid. Shipping on all items is free (paid for by Bungie), and 100% of the final price, minus eBay's fees, will go directly to the American Red Cross for disaster relief. (Charitable auctions on eBay are overseen by MissionFish, to ensure that the named charity actually gets what was promised to it.) So what are you waiting for? Go bid!

Halo Action Figure Variety Fun Hour
A huge box, jam-packed with a tremendous assortment of Halo action figures that includes some old favorites and some important rare gems. You can find a full listing at the Auction page. And no, none of them have been removed from their original packaging so calm down.
Humongous Master Chief Sculpture
Measuring three feet in height, these custom-molded Chiefs are impressive, intimidating and almost big enough to serve as a carpool buddy. Dual wielding, fresh from the fight, this is one of the most evocative pieces of Halo 2 schwag ever conceived. It really is sweet. (There are three available for auction.)
Bungie "Jam Board"
At nearly 50 colossal inches wide, this enormous foam-core art board is emblazoned with art, commentary and even code from Bungie's leading lights. There's art from Robt and Lorraine McLees, math from Charlie Gough, music from Marty O'Donnell, one frame of animation from Nathan Walpole and much, much more! Certain to be a big draw. Hahah, geddit?
Autographed Fall of Reach Cover Art
Framed, matted and signed by author Eric Nylund, the Fall of Reach is often mentioned as the best Halo novel yet. Fans of Nylund and the Halo universe can hang this proudly in their Library. Their huge, repetitive, multi-tiered, purple-blue Library...
Fight the Flood Original Sketch
Lorraine and Robt McLees' inspired Fight the Flood illustration is the picture that launched $175,000. A monochromatic rendering of our hero putting boot to ass (or at least organic waste-ejecta valve) is as filled with meaning now as it is with mirth. A true collector's item. Measures 11.5"x8.5".
Ascension Original Concept Art
Original concept art for the Halo 2 multiplayer map, Ascension. This piece is framed and matted, autographed by the map's creator, Chris Carney, and features a short paragraph describing Chris' map creation process. Bungie normally archives all game-related original materials, so this one is a big deal. Measures 22.75"x15.5".
Signed Halo 2 Box Art Poster
Measuring 26"x38" this now iconic art is signed by the majority of the Bungie team, framed and just plain pretty. A truly lovely piece, steeped in history and utterly collectible.
Multiplayer Map Pack Concept Sketch
Another rarely available original Bungie piece. This is the original concept sketch by Lorraine McLees for the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack box cover. The final box art is positioned adjacent to the sketch for comparison. This is framed, matted and signed by the artist herself. Measures 25"x21".
This fantastic piece of art, measuring 26"x38" shows Chief in classic dual-wielding pose and totally in command of Turf, one of the new levels from the Multiplayer Map Pack. It's signed and occasionally illustrated by a large percentage of the Bungie team, and a must-have for the serious Halo 2 collector.
The Shaming of the Commander
This print is from an alternate angle during one of Halo 2's cutscenes. Created using debug Halo 2 code, we see Brutes escorting the Fleet Commander away from the Prophets. This image is framed and matted and signed by the Bungie Halo 2 Cinematics Team, including Joe Staten, Lee Wilson and CJ Cowan. Measures 25"x15.75".
The Making of the Arbiter
Another cinematic print, the newly commissioned Arbiter stands before the Prophet of Truth to receive his armor. This print is framed, matted and signed by the Bungie Halo 2 Cinematic Team including Joe Staten, Lee Wilson and CJ Cowan. Measures 25"x15.75".
Signed, Hardcover Fall of Reach
This is a surprisingly rare hardcover copy of the "Fall of Reach" novel, autographed by author Eric Nylund. Again, another must-have for fans of the novel series.
Original Mister Chief Art
One of the few Mister Chiefs rendered right-handed, on real paper, without MS Paint, this could easily be the most sought-after work of art in modern times. Expected to sell for significantly more than Van Gogh's Sunflowers, it is a startling, daring reflection of one man's inhumanity to crayons. Measures 16"x17.5". in space, but leaps the vast gulf of infinitude in terms of sheer quality. Signed and dated by its notoriously modest and reclusive artist.
Original Myth Concept Art
Definitely one for true Bungie fans, this is an original model sheet of the "Trow" character from the legendary Myth franchise. Autographed by artist Juan Ramirez. Measures 18.75"x13.5".
One One Se7en Original Drawing
Not only an original piece, but custom tailored for its purchaser! This is a hand-drawn, hand-colored One One Se7en
cartoon from Stuntmutt. (Not Bungie-originated, but the deal is the same - no shipping.) Lens flare not included.
I Love Bees Commemorative DVD
Contributed by weephun, a fan with a heart, this is one of the original I Love Bees Commemorative DVDs given out at the live events that ended the alternate reality game in the summer of 2004. Update, October 30:
It looks like the development team and actors have agreed to sign this item - so you'll be receiving a one-of-a-kind item if you bid on this! Thanks again to weephun for coordinating it all.
